Chattanooga, Tenn. -The Tennessee Temple University Women's basketball
team concluded the 2009-10 campaign with an 11-15 record for 19th place
finish in the NCCAA final standing. TTU finished the season with a
88-74 loss to King College in the NCCAA Division 1 Mid-East Region
Semi-Final game.
Tennessee Temple Women's Basketball team hit the road on
Thursday 4th March to face King College
in the NCCAA Division 1 Mid-East Region Semi-Final game. King College,
a dually-affiliated NCAA II member, were the number 2 seed after finishing the
regular season 15-11 and ranked 15th in the NCCAA. TTU earned the number 3 seed after ending the
regular season 11-14 and finishing 19th in the NCCAA rankings.
The Lady Crusaders play their final regular season game at 5.30pm at home on Friday night (19th February 2010) and will be celebrating senior night! It will be an exciting game against rivals Covenant College, who Temple beat on the road earlier on in the season.
The Lady Crusaders will be honoring seniors Stephanie Lovett and Shontale Wells who have been 4 year athletes at Tennessee Temple University, and have had fantastic careers representing their team and school.
Please come and show your support for these excellent student-athletes, and for the Lady Crusaders on this special night. Admission is free, and the men's game will follow at 7.30pm.
The Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders traveled to Martin Methodist
College in Pulaski, TN
on Wednesday 3rd February for the second match-up between these two
teams this season. The Lady Crusaders were looking to improve on their 7-12
record, whilst the Redhawks (12-8), were hoping to continue their winning ways.
