The Mid-East Region of the NCCAA gave out their post season awards late last night for Women's and Men's D1 Basketball.  Both the Crusaders and Lady Crusaders had recipients of awards.  For the Lady Crusaders Amanda Rector and Angel Foster were both named to the 2nd All Region Team.

Amanda averaged 16 points per game and nearly four rebounds and assists per game for the Lady Crusaders.

Foster ended the season averaging a double-double, at almost 13 point and 10 rebounds per game.

For the Crusaders the awards keep coming in for Seniors Jarrett Smith and Elliot Johnson.

Jarrett was named to the 2nd team All-Region;  he ended the year averaging 11 point, 7 rebounds and 5 assist. He was also named as an USCAA All American.

Elliot Johnson will have ended his career as one of the most decorated Crusaders to ever play at TTU in such a short time. Last year Elliot was Mid-East player of the year, and NCCAA 1st team All-American.  This year he was Runner-up for Region Player of the year, but was still named to not only to the All-Tourney team, but also was 1st Team All- Region.  Elliot averaged 14 points, 12 Rebounds and 9.6 Assist pre game for the Crusaders.
