The Tennessee Temple men's soccer team got their first win of the season on red & white day with a win over visiting Kentucky Christian 6-2.

Tennessee Temple University Director of Athletics John Secord announced the hiring of Jonathan Perkins as the Crusaders Head Coach of Men's and Women's Soccer. Perkins is a 2001 graduate of Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, Florida where he received a BS in Church Ministries. As a student-athlete at Clearwater Perkins was a three time all NCCAA South Region selection in addition to being a two time NCCAA All American.
Tennessee Temple University was outshot 27-10 by North Greenville University in route to an 8-0 shutout loss in the NCCAA South Regional play in game held Thursday at North Greenville University
Temple got off to a slow start allowing LeGrange to score the first goal of the game. The Crusaders could not clear the ball from in front of their own goal. LeGrange forward Nic Harris took advantage of the opportunity to score his third goal of the season, giving LeGrange a 1-0 lead 14 minutes into the game.
