The Crusaders head on the road to face #12 ranked Lee University Flames tomorrow night. The Flames enter the season 1-0 on the year having won at Bryan College by nine points in a close battle. Lee is coming off a 28-8 season last year and an Elite 8 appearance at the NAIA National Tournament. Following the tournament, they were ranked #12 in the post-season ranking and find themselves in a similar slot to start the 2010-11 campaign. Last year, the Crusaders split with the Flames defeating them at their place in their home-opener and losing at home.

Alice Lloyd College informed TTU officials earlier today that their team would not be coming to Chattanooga today for the men's basketball action at 7:30pm.  Impending weather in the Pippa Passes area of Kentucky was cited as the reason.

Following a tough win (88-83) at Tennessee Wesleyan College on Monday, the Crusaders stumbled at the start to home Scots of Covenant College. Covenant played inspired basketball and outhustled the Crusaders during the early period. Temple also forced some turnovers and could not knock down shot after shot. The Scots took a 8-point lead into halftime.

 
Sat, Jan 16, 2010 - [Men's Basketball]

The Tennessee Temple University Men's Basketball team dropped a 75-50 decision on Friday night in the first game of the North Carolina Central University BC Powder Classic. The Crusaders were led in scoring by Ed Pellot-Rosa who had 12 points in addition to five rebounds in the losing effort.   Vic Taylor also chipped in 11 points for the Crusaders. Five of Taylor's points came on 5 for 5 shooting from the free throw line.

 
Wed, Dec 2, 2009 - [Men's Basketball]

Tennessee Temple used a second half comeback to secure a win on the road at Swannee by the final score of 78-74. The Crusaders were led by Mike Upshire who had 19 points on 6 for 7 shooting from the floor and 7 for 8 from the free throw line. Zach Mouw and Uros Komadinic also chipped in 15 each for the Crusaders.
