Sam Mahtani
Head Coach- 1st Season

Sam Mahtani begins his head coaching career at Tennessee Temple University after spending the past four seasons as a member of the women’s soccer coaching staff at Trinity Christian College, a top NAIA program located in the south suburbs of Chicago. While at Trinity, Mahtani served as an assistant coach for the varsity program as well as the head coach for the junior varsity program. 

Mahtani graduated from Trinity in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. As a student, he competed on the men’s soccer team for three seasons. He was a starting defender for the program and served as the team captain his senior year.


His coaching experience includes a USSF “C” and NCSAA Goalkeeping license. He was also on the coaching staff for the Illinois Olympic Development Program (ODP). Mahtani earned his master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University in Irvine, California, and has also coached youth camps in the summer and at the High School level.
