A passed ball, scoring Autrelle Brazzle gave Lady Crusaders the lead in the sixth inning, and Lady Crusaders hung on to beat Judson College 52 on Thursday. Megan Roysden got the win for Lady Crusaders. She allowed two runs over seven innings. Megan struck out four, walked none and gave up six hits. Meliah Matthews was the game's losing pitcher. She allowed 5 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out two. The top of the third saw Judson College take an early lead, 2-0. Shelby Bowen singled to ignite Judson College's offense. An error then moved Shelby from first to second. Heather Hall singled, plating Shelby and Katie McIntyre. Lady Crusaders never trailed after scoring three runs in the sixth on a two-run error. .

 

In game two:

Ashley Sawyer got the win for Judson College. She allowed four runs over seven innings. Ashley struck out one, walked one and gave up seven hits. Judson College was sparked by Shelby Bowen and Ashlyn Ingram, who teamed up for six hits and two RBIs. Megan Roysden ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out nine, and allowed five runs. The game's last lead went to Judson College thanks to a first inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on two singles. Judson College piled on two more runs in the top of the second. Ashlyn started the inning with a double, bringing home Shelby. That was followed up by Anna Henderson's single, scoring Ashlyn. After pushing across one run in the bottom of the second, Lady Crusaders faced just a 4-1 deficit. A fielder's choice sparked Lady Crusaders' rally. Ashley ended the inning by getting Heather Smith to. Three Lady Crusaders runs crossed the plate in the bottom half of the seventh, making the score 5-4. A two-run error and an RBI double by Raven Pope gave Lady Crusaders life. Lady Crusaders' Jillian McGill to end the ballgame.
