The Crusaders' volleyball team left Jacksonville, Florida with two wins over Trinity Baptist College and Trinity College of Florida.    Friday night, the Crusaders had a clean sweep against Trinity Baptist College (25-15; 25-12; 25-13).   Kiara Govan directed the Crusaders offense with 25 assists.  Trinity Garmon had 10 kills of the teams' 28.  On the defensive end, Jade Mast finished the match with 10 digs, and Lydia Vick, Shatoya Medford, and Trinity Garmon contributed 8 digs a piece. As a team, the Crusaders had 15 aces and 8 blocks (4 black solos and 4 block assists). 

After the win on Friday, the Crusaders entered the match with a 4-3 record.  The match against Trinity College turned into another clean victory for the Crusaders (25-12; 25-12; 25-15).  Once again, the Crusaders had a solid performance.  Victoria Smith led the team with 10 kills, and Shatoya Medford followed with 6 kills.  Kaylee Ginnings controlled the offense with  27 assists. Jade Mast contributed 7 aces of the teams 16 aces. Jade Mast also held strong for the Crusaders defense with 8 digs. Lydia Vick and Kaylee Ginnings followed Mast with 6 digs a piece. Shatoya Medford met the school record with 4 solo blocks for the match.  The Crusaders finished this weekend with a 5-3 record.  The next game is Monday, September 16 at home against Georgia Northwestern Technical College at 7:00 p.m.
