This past Saturday the Lady Crusaders Volleyball Team traveled to Toccoa Falls College to compete against the Toccoa Falls Eagles and Point University Seahawks. 
The first match was a clean sweep for the Crusaders, by putting way Toccoa Falls in three sets (25-14; 25-19; 25-17). Kaylee Ginnings had 22 assists, and Kiara Govan contributed 9 assists.  Lydia Vick lead the team with an impressive 17 digs. Natasha Petrillo included  total of 15 digs, and Shatoya Medford included 9 digs.  Toccoa Falls did not have an answer for Victoria Smith.  Smith had 11 kills, and Lydia Vick had 9 kills. 
The second match of the day was a grueling match against Point University.  After a hard five set battle, the Crusaders were unable to pull out a win (19-25; 25-23; 25-16; 7-25; 11-15). Everyone contributed during this match. Kaylee Ginnings finished with 36 assists.  Shatoya Medford shined for the Crusaders defense with 30 digs, and Lydia Vick followed Medford with 25 digs.  Trinity Garmon and Kaylee Ginnings also contributed to the Crusaders' defense with 15 and 14 digs respectively. Lydia Vick found the holes in the Seahawks defense to lead the Crusaders with 14 kills.  Victoria Smith contributed 9 kills, and Natasha Petrillo had 8 kills. 
The Crusaders next game is away on Saturday, September 7th against Oakwood University.
