Covenant College didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders captured a blowout 7-1 win in seven innings at Union University.

Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders scored three runs in the sixth on a two-run single by Raven Pope and an RBI single by Amanda Rector.

 

Pope racked up two RBIs on two hits for Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders.

 

Carley Daniel picked up the win for Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders. Daniel allowed no earned runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

 

In the bottom of the first, Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders grabbed the early lead, 1-0. A single by Ashlen Mitchell, plating Haley Huskey started the inning off.

Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders never trailed after scoring three runs in the fifth on two sacrifice flys and an RBI single by Daniel.

The Lady Crusaders will play Tomorrow vs the Loser of Union University and Ohio Christian for a chance to win the Regional Crown.
