Pope racked up two RBIs on one hit for Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders. She tripled in the fifth inning.

Makenna Jennings got the win for Ohio Christian. She allowed three runs over seven innings. Jennings struck out four, walked one and gave up seven hits.

The game was never in doubt after the third, as Ohio Christian scored two runs on a two-run error.

Three runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders close its deficit to 5-3. A two-run triple by Pope and an RBI double by Ashlen Mitchell sparked Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders' rally. But, Jennings gotAmanda Rector to fly out to end the inning.

Ohio Christian increased its lead with two runs in the seventh. A sacrifice fly scored Bethanie Schaffner to get Ohio Christian on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Paige Murphy's single, bringing home Jennings.
