The Tennessee Temple University baseball team defeated Maranatha Baptist Bible College 3-0 and 11-1 on Wednesday at AT&T Field. Pitcher Patrick Lycans struck out six and allowed four hits in the complete-game shutout. Dustin Crumley and Nico McElrath each had two hits in the win, and Sean Leitstein had two RBIs. In the second game Dylan Massengill picked up the pitching win for the Crusaders (12-10) with six strikeouts in six innings. Leitstein and Bradley Grant had two hits and an RBI, while Caine Elliot had an RBI single in the win.
