Raven Pope did all she could to give Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Southern Wesleyan University, as Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders lost 5-1 in seven innings at Warner Park on Thursday.

 

Pope led Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders' offensive threat, as she got on base two times in the game. She doubled in the fifth inning.

 

Jennifer Jacoby got it done in the circle on the way to a win. She allowed one run over seven innings. Jacoby struck out 12, walked two and gave up three hits.

 

Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders managed to score one run in the first inning on an RBI double by Ashlen Mitchell.

 

Southern Wesleyan University went up for good in the third, scoring two runs on a two-run double by Allison Barbee.

 

Southern Wesleyan University added three more runs in the top of the fifth. A triple by Barbee ignited the offense,, scoring Candace Graves and MC Garrett.

Raven Pope did her best to will Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders to a win with a two-hit game, but Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders dropped a 10-1 contest to Southern Wesleyan College on Thursday at Warner Park.

 

Allison Parker recorded the win for Southern Wesleyan College. She allowed one run over five innings. Parker struck out three, walked five and gave up four hits.

 

Southern Wesleyan College was sparked by MC Garrett and Kylie Klim, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
