The Tennessee Temple basketball teams beat visiting Oakwood University on Tuesday, the Lady Crusaders prevailing 56-48 for their sixth consecutive win. In the win Amanda Rector had 15 points and seven rebounds and Amber Charles added 11 points, eight rebounds and seven steals for the Lady Crusaders (10-13). TaQuasha O'Neal had 10 points and four steals. Temple trailed 25-19 late in the first half but surged into the lead early in the second before falling behind again. Down 30-28, the Lady Crusaders scored 16 of the next 19 points and maintained control the rest of the way. The Lady Crusaders next game is this Saturday as they play Oakwood again in Huntsville, game time is for 8:00 EST.
