Tennessee Temple University extended its volleyball winning streak to four with a 25-23, 25-17, 27-25 home win Monday against Judson. Shatoya Medford had 10 kills and 11 digs, Kourtney Chorman made eight kills and Lynncoya Gardner had 19 assists for the Lady Crusaders (12-13), winning for the sixth time in seven matches. This streak all started last weekend at the TTU Classic host by Coach Latonia Allen.  The weekend wins look like this:

The Lady Crusaders won 25-8, 25-23, 25-15 over Trinity College; 25-5, 25-6, 25-15 over Hiwassee and 25-16, 25-20, 25-17 over Oakwood. Lynncoya Gardner had 23 assists, P.J. Sexton served seven aces and Kourtney Chorman and LaQuinta Gallishaw had eight kills each against Trinity, and Chorman had 10 kills while Shatoya Medford had eight kills and 12 digs and Gardner had 17 assists against Oakwood. Chorman had 11 aces and eight kills against Hiwassee, when Gallishaw made 10 kills and Natasha dos Santos Ferreti had seven aces and seven kills.

After the big weekend 1st year Head Coach Latonia Allen had this to say, "I am very proud of out team, it was a big weekend. I feel confident as we head down the final stretch of this last month that we have improved tremendously in many facets and are continuing to improve in the areas of focus and discipline. "
