Men's Soccer - Fri, Aug. 31, 2012

Last night the Men's Soccer teams welcomed the Tigers from Campbellsville University for their home opener. They drop the ninety minute contest 5-0. After the game Head Coach Kenrick Liburd had this to say, " I was Disappointed with the account but pleased with the way we played. This Campbellsville team took Lindsay Wilson who was undefeated last year and won the NAIA Championship to overtime twice least year and today I felt that we played with them."  Late in the game the Crusaders were able to create a number of chances from open play but were not able to punch one in. Coach Liburd also mentioned that he thought Jay Fremmer and Kevin Carillo both had great performances tonight. The Crusaders will be back in action tomorrow at 9am as they host Trinity Baptist College at Camp Jordan Parks.
