Tennessee Temple Athletic Director John Secord announced today that the NCCAA has granted a geographic waiver exception request which will allow Temple to participate in the NCCAA Mid-East region for the 2009-2010 academic year.

"We thank NCCAA Executive Director Dan Wood and the Board of Directors Administration Committee for granting our request," said Secord. "This will better align us regionally with our competition and if the proposed national realignment for 2010-2011 takes place the Mid-East region will be our permanent home."

The NCCAA Mid-East region for 2009-2010 is comprised of the following members: Asbury College, Bluefield College, Bryan College, Campbellsville University, Cincinnati Christian University, Covenant College, Mid-Continent University, Oakland City University and Tennessee Temple University.
