Coach Harris coached TTU's program from 2000-2002. He was the coach of former All-Americans Nathan Sloan and Doug Wenner. Coach Harris was a Florida High School State Chamion in 1988. He wrestled at University of TN at Chattanooga for five years. He was a two-time Southern Conference Champion and Div. 1 NCAA All-American in 1992. He is filling in for Coach Geoff Whitaker who is serving his country as an Army Chaplain in Iraq. Coach Harris was the volunteer assistant coach last year for Coach Whitaker.
