Daniel Prevett
Head Coach- 1st Season

Daniel Prevett enters his first season as Head Coach of the Tennessee Temple University men's basketball program following six season as the top assistant coach at Asbury University in Wilmore, KY. Coach Prevett will also serve as Assistant Athletic Director at TTU.

Coach Prevett served six season under Coach Will Shouse at Asbury where he helped lead the Eagles to a 105-79 record, three 20-win seasons and a Regular Season KIAC Championship in 2011. Prevett was responsible for the Junior Varsity program where he led his team to an undefeated season this past year.

Daniel played four years at Kentucky Christian University where he received his Business Administration degree in 2007. As a player for the Knights, Prevett was a member of two NCCAA Division II final four teams, one that finished fourth in 2005 and one that finished third in 2007. Prevett was a two year starter at KCU and a team captain during his final season.

A native of Louisville, KY, Coach Prevett graduated from KCU in 2007 and received his Master of Sports Science in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in 2014.

Daniel, his wife Jenni and their son Jordon (1) are excited to be moving into Chattanooga.

 
Steve Edwards
Grad Assistant- 2nd Season

Steve Edwards is in his first year as a Graduate Assistant for the men's basketball team.  Originally, Edwards is from Newton, Mississippi, where he attended Newton High School.   During high school, Edwards was a four sport athlete, won state in basketball in 2008, and named one of the top 50 players in Mississippi (2008).  After graduating high school, Edwards attended East Central CC for two years, and then he transferred to Spring Hill College, in Mobile, Alabama, to play two years of basketball.  Edwards graduated from Spring Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  Not only was Edwards an athlete before entering into Tennessee Temple, but he also helped coach at Newton High School and at East Central CC.
Edwards is also heavily involved in Word of Faith Ministries, and he is a Youth Speaker.
