The Tennessee Temple University baseball team got out to a promising start on Tuesday as they jumped out to a 3-1 lead after six innings on the road at Covenant.
The Crusaders extended that lead with two runs in the seventh and one in the eights to take a 6-2 lead into the bottom of the eighth. A seven run rally in the eighth for Covenant proved to be the difference as the rally proved to be the final offensive output for both teams in the 9-6 victory for Covenant.
The Crusaders are back in action on Friday when they travel to Spaulding University.
