After a close start trailing only 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning Lee University blew the game open scoring five in the bottom of the fourth to take a 7-2 lead.
Lee added five more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Crusaders responded with three runs of their own in the top of the seventh but two more
runs by Lee in the 8th inning stopped what was scheduled to be a nine inning game.
The Crusaders will be back in action Tuesday when the travel to Covenant.
