A closely contested battle throughout the first half resulted in a 42-41 halftime lead for the visiting Eagles.  The Crusaders opened the second half strong and led by five late in the contest only to see a late surge by Pensacola Christian lead to a 74-73 defeat to the hands of the visiting Eagles. 

Four three point field goals in the first half by Crusaders forward Curits Porter (12 points) helped to keep the Crusaders in the game in the first half but early foul trouble led to Porter spending a significant part of the first half on the bench and he did not regain the hot and in the second half. 

Zack Mow's 16 points led the Crusader attack while Pensacola was led in scoring by Marques Goetsch who led all scorers with 17.  The loss drops the Crusaders to 2-18.

The Crusaders return to action Monday January 19th when they play at Milligan
