North Murray High School senior Baylee Sutton signed scholarship papers Friday to continue her softball career at Tennessee Temple University. Sutton, who batted .343 with three home runs this season, played shortstop for the Mountaineers but likely will play third base for Temple. "She's really a solid infielder. She's a solid ballplayer all around," Lady Crusaders coach Randy Crawford said. "We feel we're getting somebody who can help us step up to the next level." Crawford saw her first when she was a junior and then watched her play "several times" this past summer and in the 2014 high school season. "I love the atmosphere of the college and the coaches and players -- all of it," Sutton said. "And the fact it's a Christian college is one of the main things. That was important to me."
