Women's Soccer - Fri, Aug. 8, 2014

The 2014-15 schedule has officially been announced for the Tennessee Temple women's soccer team. A tough mix of NCCAA, NAIA, and NCAA teams will offer a challenging season for TTU as they look to improve on last season's record of 5-12-1. Out of the eighteen games the ladies will play, only five will feature at home, with thirteen being played away.

The Lady Crusaders will kick off their season with a six-game road trip. The season opener will be played against rivals Bryan College on August 19th, shortly followed by tough contests against Reinhardt University (Aug. 26), NCAA Division I Chattanooga rivals Tennessee-Chattanooga (Aug. 29), and Oakland City University (Sept. 2). The ladies will finish their travels with match-ups against Alabama-Huntsville (Sept. 9) and Brewton Parker (Sept. 11).

Temple's first home game will take place on September 2nd as the women's soccer team welcomes Point University (Sept. 13) to Chattanooga.

After a seven-day break in the schedule, women's soccer will again look for success on the road as they play three consecutive away games. Starting in Tennessee with the University of the South (20 Sept), Temple will also travel to Alabama to face Oakwood University (Sept. 23) before finishing the trip against the University of Pikeville (Sept. 29) in Kentucky.

The Lady Crusaders will begin October by hosting Grace Bible College (Oct. 3). Two important away games quickly follow and allow the women to test their abilities against NCAA Division II opponents Young Harris College (Oct. 6) and South Carolina's Bob Jones University (Oct. 10).

As their season enters its final stages, the women will host three home games against Bryan College (Oct. 14), Ohio Christian University (Oct. 18), and, for the homecoming game, Judson College (Oct. 21).

The Lady Crusaders season will wrap up their season with two away games at Georgia Gwinnett College (Oct. 25) and Truett-McConnell (Oct. 30).
