Lady Crusaders shut the door early on Wesleyan College, capturing a 13-5 victory on Tuesday at Warner Park.


Twelve runs in the first three innings allowed Lady Crusaders to put the game away early.


A sacrifice fly by Raven Pope in the first inning and an RBI single by Carley Daniel, an RBI single by Carissa Ellis, a groundout by Jacqueline Crawford, an RBI single by Heather Smith, a two-run double by Savannah Brownlee, and an RBI single by Jillian McGill during the second inning supplied the early offense for Lady Crusaders.

Jillian racked up three RBIs on three hits for Lady Crusaders.


Even though Megan Roysden allowed five runs over five innings she still recorded the victory. She struck out six, walked one and surrendered eight hits.


Lady Crusaders hammered Wesleyan College pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, 12 RBIs and nine runs scored.


Ashley Kemp was charged with the loss. She allowed 13 runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.


Lady Crusaders scored one run of its own in the first.


Lady Crusaders built upon its lead with four runs in the third. The inning looked promising, as Jacqueline singled, plating Autrelle Brazzle to kick things off. That was followed up by Raven 's single, bringing home Carissa and Jacqueline.
