Temple got off to a slow start allowing LeGrange to score the first goal of the game. The Crusaders could not clear the ball from in front of their own goal. LeGrange forward Nic Harris took advantage of the opportunity to score his third goal of the season, giving LeGrange a 1-0 lead 14 minutes into the game.

Temple began to turn the tide six minutes later. Godwin Addai scored on a penalty kick to tie the score at 1-1. The Crusaders broke the game open later in the half on a Carlos Gomez goal off an assist from Brandon Hamilton to put Temple up 2-1. The scoring continued two minutes later as Hamilton gave the Crusaders a 3-1 lead at halftime.

Temple added an insurance goal in the second half when Diego Fallas scored with 11 minutes remaining in the game. The Crusaders outshot LeGrange 16-6 in the game.
The win moved the Crusaders to 6-7-2 and the Crusaders will be in action Oct 18th vs. Spaulding University
