The Crusader Baseball Team battled to a 2-2 record against solid competition over the weekend, winning against established programs Emmanuel college and Indiana Wesleyan.  Several Veteran players and new faces emerged to seal victories, Senior John Creed hurled the Crusaders to Victory with help from Former Bradley Central Bear Tyler Cross.  Round two saw TTU Fall to a talented Rio Grande Squad who ended up winning the Tournament.  In Game three David Adair and Freshman Drew Hammonds pitched the Crusaders to a tie game then Freshman Justin Crews' Hard hit ball in the bottom of the 7th  got past an IWU infielder to seal the win. In the night cap the Senior Kyle Welch pitched a great game v.s. a pre-season ranked Taylor U and held the visitors to one run but the Crusaders came up short 1-0.
