The Tennessee Temple University men's basketball team came up just short in their attempt to avenge a season opening 18 point loss to visiting Bryan falling in overtime by the final score of 66-64.

Tied at 57all at the end of regulation the Crusaders were unable to close the game out in overtime as Scott Newton contributed 5 of his 14 for visiting Bryan College in the extra session.

Keith Bauex led all scorers with 20 points for Bryan. The Crusaders were led in scoring by Uros Komaidinic and Johnnie McLawhorn who contributed 15 each. Both Komaidinic and McLawhorn scored for the Crusaders in the extra session. The Crusaders are back in action Tuesday when they travel to Lincoln Memorial.
