After falling earlier in the day to Palm Beach Atlantic 10-5 in their opening game of the NCCAA regionals the Crusaders were unable to cool the bats of host Emmanuel College falling by a final score of 17-8.

Temple jumped out to an early lead scoring one in the bottom of the first. Emmanuel then went on to score five in the second, four in the third, and four in the fourth inning to open up a 13-1 lead. Temple responded with four in the fourth inning and three in the fifth but were unable to generate any runs in the sixth or seventh inning in route to the 17-8 defeat.

The game was the final in a Crusader uniform for senior catcher Christian Salgado.
